Waterproof flooring will give you the style you want and the peace of mind you crave! No matter where you live, it will change your life because no water will ever be able to penetrate. If you don’t know about it yet, we invite you to come into our showroom to explore samples and learn more.
Why is it sometimes called waterproof vinyl?
That’s because the flooring is engineered luxury vinyl flooring (LVF). It has all of the styles of LVF but comes with technologically advanced cores, such as the WPC (wood plastic composite) or SPC (stone plastic composite). These won’t peel or ripple, no matter how much water there is or for how long.
To put it into perspective, we know someone who was away for three weeks and came home to an appliance flood. No one knows exactly when the flood occurred, but they know that there was no damage because of the waterproof flooring. So go ahead, pour water on it or submerge it, and it'll still come out good as new.
This vinyl is a remarkably realistic echo of wood, stone, or tile, enhanced with high-definition photography. It includes features such as micro beveling and embossing to add depth, dimension, and textured appearances. LVF can also be cut into planks called vinyl plank flooring (LVP) or square, groutable tile-sized pieces for LVT Flooring.
Is there waterproof laminate flooring?
Yes, and this works differently from waterproof vinyl. This product has a special backing and improved core construction that absorbs water and prevents stains, and it is waterproof from the top, but not bottom to top. That means when spills occur, they can’t penetrate, but if your subfloor is damp, you should probably use a vapor barrier.
